How Do You Handle Your Valley?

How Do You Handle Your Valley? DELINE TAN Daily Inspiration Pastor Ratan Babu Baipa October 1, 2024 Life is short. How you live now will determine your future. The decisions you make every day affect your life. Whatever happens, are you living your life to the fullest? When we face challenges, it helps us brace our lives with strength. When troubles and problems loom at us, know that we have the capacity to rise up and handle the situations. We are not dead when others attack us.   We have the capacity to fight back when our lives are in danger. We need to tackle our lives with a smile on our faces even though the circumstances may not look good. We must face life as it comes but we must not allow situations to put us down no matter how bad the storm may be. We must rise up and fight.   Is your problem too big today? Don’t clinch at your tomorrows, but pluck up enough courage to face the facts of life. We are made strong when we cross the terrains of conflicts and trials, as these will make us an overcomer. It is those who overcome that will taste the sweet pleasures of life. We must not allow problems to put us down and we mustn’t stay in the valley of depression when life seems overwhelming.   Take up the courage and fight in life’s struggle. As you continue to do that, you will be made strong and able to face any trauma without bowing down to the pressures of life. In order to grow muscles, you must exercise and exert to your limit; likewise, when you face your problems or giants in your life, it will only develop you and make you strong and able.   The next time when you encounter any difficulties, look at it squarely and face it. Do not deny your problems but seek to strive to overcome at all odds. The decision you make will determine your outcome. Stay strong and conquer, you will never lose. Only remain calm and steady, and you will be able to overcome your mountains.  No Comments Found. // Recent Post edit post The Lord is my Rock and Fortress and Deliverer September 21, 2024 edit post How Do You Handle Your Valley? Are You Bearing Much Fruits?

Are You Bearing Much Fruits? DELINE TAN Daily Inspiration Pastor Ratan Babu Baipa October 1, 2024 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruits; for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:5 Yes, the scripture says that we must bear much fruits in order to abide in the vine. Jesus is the vine, and the Father is the vinedresser (John 15:1). Bearing much fruits for Jesus is to abide in Him (John 15:5). Knowing Jesus is one thing, and bearing fruits for Him is another. They are not the same. We can know Jesus and yet disobey Him. It is only through loving and knowing Him, by being yielded to Him, that we can bear much fruits. John 15:5 says that without Jesus we can do nothing.   Matthew 3:8 says that we are to bear fruits worthy of repentance. Bearing fruits for Jesus meant having the right relationship with Him. Are you bearing much fruits for Him and what are you doing to prove it? For in Matthew 3:10 it says that every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and throw into the fire. Having a relationship with Jesus and living holy life causes us to bear much fruits. By it all men will know that we are Jesus’ disciples.   The fruits that we bear must encompass souls coming into the Kingdom of God. As we build God’s Kingdom, we want to bear lasting fruits for Him. Soul winning is certainly one of the ways that will bear its heavenly significance because God loves people and souls are important to Him. If you want to bear fruits, look unto Jesus and He will show you the way to serve and love Him and causes you to be abundantly fruitful for Him.   Examine yourself and see what you have done for Jesus. Are the things you do measuring up to His kingdom and worth counting for eternity?   “Jesus, we want to honor and please you in everything that we do. We want to bear much fruits for you and serve you wholeheartedly. Teach us to obey you so that we can be yielded to you and do all that you want us to do. Show us your Kingdom so that we may build it accordingly to your will. Give us peace that we know your purpose is fulfilled in us. Let the things that we do be done in your name. In your glorious name we pray, Amen.” No Comments Found. // Recent Post edit post How Do You Handle Your Valley? How To De-Stress

How To De-Stress DELINE TAN Daily Inspiration Pastor Ratan Babu Baipa September 23, 2024 What causes stress and how do we cope with it?  Every day we are bombarded with the stresses of life because of the demands of the day. Stress can be good and bad for the health, as too much stress causes health hazards with sicknesses like schizophrenia, high blood pressure, and heart attack. A little stress causes us to be more alert and vigilant when the demands are there. It is known that before the trigger of mental illness in a patient, she/he could not cope with the amount of stress. With the nature of schizophrenia, which is often triggered by excessive stress, a person is subjected to risk if care is not taken to eliminate the stress. Stress also causes bad relationships with family members, as a little annoyance is enough to create a big mountain out of a molehill. We have often heard that a little stress is good for our well-being and we perform better under pressure. Capitalise on the strength of making use of stress to improve your work, but do not allow it to overtake you that soon it becomes a very stressful moment. Pace out your work with wisdom and understanding as to how much stress you can take and how much you can’t. It is good to work in what you can and try to seek help in areas you are unable to cope. When is the most stressful moment for mothers? Can it be during the children’s examination period? Most parents get more anxious than their children when it comes to academic pursuits because the parents want their children to score high marks and do well. What then should be the attitude of the mother when her children’s exam draws near? Well, if the children have been consistent in studying throughout the school term, then there could be no anxiety. As such, the anxiousness that these children face will cause them from doing well. The point is, relax and allow your children to excel in the way they are able to. For working people, stress normally comes in the form of being overworked and under-rest. When can you balance between work and rest? Do not carry the office work back home, as that would even create a more stressful time at home, which is meant to be rest time. Most people carry their workload back home hoping to work on it, only to find that they are building up tremendous stress for themselves. The answer is, leave what you can’t do today for tomorrow and at least your boss will understand that you have tried hard for the day. The most stressful moment for couples is when they have a baby. The baby wakes up in the middle of the night and demands milk and attention. What do the parents do? They have no choice but to wake up and feed the child. This carries on until the child is at least two years old, and it certainly is a toil for the parents if both are working. Looking after children can be the most stressful thing for a mother because it takes up her strength and energy. The demands are great. I always hear mothers complain that it is not easy to devote time to their children with the high demands of housework and other responsibilities. How then can we cope with stress? Well, the best way is to relax and not be too worked up by the demands of the day. Have a lovely evening with your spouse, chatting, if that takes away the stress, or go out with friends for a cup of coffee if you need to de-stress yourself. Find something to do other than the daily chores. Read a magazine or go shopping, that might break the routine, and always remember to try and do something different. The answer is, be different and you will find yourself able to cope better. The best answer is to go for a beautiful holiday far away in the Caribbean or go to Europe or other locations. Such a holiday can do you a lot of good as it takes away the chores of the day and the toil of years accumulated throughout your working years. Learn to relax and have fun and you will find that you will be refreshed and have more energy to build up your career or look after your children. Manage your stress well and you’ll be able to manage yourself better. Relax and please yourself with whatever that you intend to do. At the end of the day, stay calm and tackle your problems if you need to, yet in the most unhurried way, with lots of time to do the rest. Learn to rest well and you will be able to cope better the next day. Draw strength for each day and you will find that you are stronger and able to cope with the stress of life. // Recent Post edit post Pray Like Jesus September 22, 2024 edit post Christmas Gifts for Orphan Children January 16, 2023 edit post God at Work in 2022 December 9, 2022 edit post Abounding in Hope May 26, 2024 edit post Widows Support @ Kerala January 14, 2023 edit post Changing Times- Unchanging God January 4, 2023 // Categories Snack for the Soul Daily Inspiration // Gallery Explore Our Ministries Come and Join Ministries

Pray Like Jesus

Pray Like Jesus DELINE TAN Daily Inspiration Pastor Ratan Babu Baipa September 22, 2024 So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed… Luke 5:16 Have you ever thought how Jesus would pray? Well, being the Son of God, you probably think that after all, He is the Son of God and His relationship with the Father was enormously close. How can you pray like Him?   Even though Jesus is the Son of God, but He is also the Son of man. He has feelings and emotions like us; He got weary at times (after a long day preaching and teaching); He got angry with those who buy and sell at His Father’s house (John 2:14-16); at times He was hungry (Mark 11:12); isn’t this Jesus, just like us?   Jesus was fully God and man, and as Jesus was just like us, we too, can reach the potential where we can be close to the Father. We can walk with the Father as Jesus walked because He has shown us an example of what it takes to be intimately close to the Father. Usually, after a busy day preaching to the crowd, He would withdraw to a quiet place to pray. He woke up in the wee morning hours to pray in a solitary place (Mark 1:35). The example that Jesus left us is for us to emulate Him. As we study the life of Jesus, we can poise our inner strength to have a strong spirit man, as that would cause us to walk intimately with the Father. Jesus taught with authority and power when He ministered to the people. With authority, He casts out demons with a command and they came out of the possessed man (Luke 4:36). We too can have authority over the demonic spirits, and with power and authority, we can cast them out.   We must exercise this authority when we become the children of God. We must like Jesus, stay close to the Father so that we can be ready to serve Him at any time that He calls us to. Jesus’ secret in His ministry life is the life of prayer. As He stays close to the Father through intimate prayer, God the Father can direct and guide Him in every area of His life, as Jesus was dependent on the Father. Jesus said in John 5:19 that He can do nothing of Himself, but only what He sees the Father do, for whatever He does, Jesus also does in like manner. In order to flow like Jesus in ministry, we must build a strong prayer life and be close and intimate with the Father. We must let the Word of God change and transform us, and we must faithfully and constantly look to the Father for everything we need. We can go before Him like a child and tell Him everything that concerns us. We can trust that God will take care of us when we obey Him and do all that pleases Him. Seek to be like Jesus in your prayer life and you will walk like Him just as He walked while He was on this earth. Jesus is our example and we must flow like Him in order to see the manifestations of the Father. // Recent Post edit post How To De-Stress September 23, 2024 edit post Pray Like Jesus September 22, 2024 edit post Wait for the Lord and not to be put to Shame September 21, 2024 edit post The Lord is my Rock and Fortress and Deliverer September 21, 2024 edit post The Cross Cannot Be Concealed September 21, 2024 edit post Unwavering Faith June 11, 2024 // Categories Snack for the Soul Daily Inspiration // Gallery Explore Our Ministries Come and Join Ministries

Wait for the Lord and not to be put to Shame

Wait for the Lord and not to be put to Shame DELINE TAN Those who hopefully wait for me will not be put to shame. Isaiah 49:23 Daily Inspiration Pastor Ratan Babu Baipa September 21, 2024 Have you been through circumstances that you are ashamed of? Have you been in situations that are extremely difficult? Are you ashamed of what you are going through? Have you considered when all else failed, you can count on God to pull you through as you wait upon Him?   Whatever situations and circumstances you are going through, God knows it all and He understands how you feel. Our heavenly Father is interested in our daily affairs, He specifically comes to meet our needs. He waits for us to come to Him and lays our rest in Him. Psalm 46:10 says, be still and know I am God. God wants us to be dependent on Him as He loves and cares for us. Whatever you are going through, God will take care of you if you will call and wait upon Him. Isaiah 49:23e says that those who hopefully wait for Him will not be put to shame. We must trust God to do the impossible. As we trust Him, He will meet our needs. Are you waiting upon God with your most difficult situations? Know that through waiting your strength is renewed and you will know where you are going.   God takes delight in us when we look and wait upon Him. Are there situations and circumstances you are trusting God for? Are your problems over-whelming and you don’t know where to turn? Remember your first love when you met up with God. You fell in love with Him and you take such delight in talking to Him and basking in His presence. Do you recall miracles taking place when the impossible are possible? Why not reflect those moments again? Isaiah 49:23 says that those who wait upon Him will not be put to shame. This shows that as we trust God for our circumstances, we will shine like gold as we will not be ashamed. God’s promises to us are true, we need to trust Him and wait patiently for Him. Are you in need of His direction? Struggle no more, take time to wait upon Him and trust Him fully. The greatest delight is to hear God speaks and to experience this, it comes through waiting. As a child of God, our delight is in Him and as we trust and wait upon Him, we will find our great God.

The Lord is my Rock and Fortress and Deliverer

The Lord is my Rock and Fortress and Deliverer DELINE TAN The Lord is my Rock and my Fortress and my Deliverer. My God, my Strength, in whom I will trust. My Shield and the horn of my Salvation, my Stronghold. (V.2) Psalm 18:1-3 Daily Inspiration Pastor Ratan Babu Baipa September 21, 2024 Are you facing the darkest storm and life seems bleak, meaningless and purposeless? God may seem so far from you without His presence, and all around you are turmoil and distresses. In moments like this, where do you find your comfort?   Can you say like what the Psalmist said in Psalm 18:2 – The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer? Is your faith anchored in Christ the Rock, or have you lost your sense of God’s presence. Are you holding on to your faith and trust Him to be your fortress and deliverer? Can you call upon Him and find your refuge in Him?   When things seem dark and bleak, can you cry out like the Psalmist – My God, my strength, in whom I trust. My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Perhaps you have never really tasted the sweetness of God’s presence, and you find yourself so far from Him. It is in moments like this that you want to cry out to God and say – my God, my God, my rock and my fortress and my deliverer!   God hears when you cry out to Him. God takes delight in those who depend on Him and trust Him to be his God. The weaker you are, the more you need to trust God. It is not yourself who can solve any problem but God is your deliverer and stronghold. There are no situations or circumstances that God cannot help. He holds you in the palm of His Hand. You are the apple of His eye.   Are you facing the darkest storm and life seems bleak, meaningless and purposeless? The Cross Cannot Be Concealed

The Cross Cannot Be Concealed DELINE TAN Daily Inspiration Pastor Ratan Babu Baipa September 21, 2024 Therefore command that the tomb be made secure until the third day, lest His disciples come by night and steal Him away, and say to the people, ‘He has risen from the dead.’ So the last deception will be worse than the first. Matthew 27:62-66                     So they went and made the tomb secure, sealing the stone and setting the guard. Have you ever thought what might conceal the things of God in this world, or how can we hide the fact that Jesus is alive today? Down the history men tried to destroy the Bible or martyr those who preach the gospel. However, it is not for men to conceal the fact that Jesus death and resurrection is a well-established fact, that He died on the cross and rose again on the third day.                       The chief Priests and Pharisees tried to conceal the fact that Jesus will rise again on the third day, as they heard Jesus mentioning it. They then tried to seal the stone at Jesus’ tomb and set guards to protect the tomb, in a ridiculous belief that Jesus’ disciples would steal Jesus’ body and establish the fact that Jesus had risen. This is what men are capable of doing – to hide the facts of life and produce lies about the circumstances and situations.                       Men can say and do all they can in trying to conceal the fact that Jesus had risen from the dead, but the bare fact remains that Jesus had conquered the grave, and whosoever believes in Him shall be saved. No lies can hide this fact and no amount of trickery on men’s part can conceal the fact that we need a Saviour in order to live for eternity. We are lost and desperate without hope if Jesus had not triumph over the cross. Ephesians 2:1-2. We would still be death in our trespasses if Jesus had not risen from the tomb. Our lives will be miserable and without hope had not Jesus went to the cross. What Jesus did is not a religious act but a fact in history that He suffered a terrible beating and the slashing of 40 stripes minus one; was crucified on the cross and rose again on the third day.                       No one can conceal this fact of Jesus’ death and resurrection, and nobody can destroy God’s Word – the Bible. Down through the centuries, the Bible was burned and men tried to get rid of God’s Word but to no avail. Who can fight against God? The wisdom of men is God’s foolishness and the cross is the ultimate victory that redeems mankind from death. 1 Cor 1:18. Men can’t conceal the fact of the life and resurrection of Jesus, and no one can taut God’s plan and will for the world. God’s will for men is that they might be saved and come to the full knowledge of who Jesus is. 1 Timothy 2:4. No one can deny the power of the cross, and no lies from the enemy can steal the fact that Jesus is alive and is seated at the right hand of God. The cross of Christ stands today. Jesus is alive and no one can deny that He is the Son of God. He reigns supreme and has triumph over death. He is indeed the Saviour of the world.

Unwavering Faith

Unwavering Faith MESSAGE BY PASTOR RATAN Daily Inspiration Pastor Ratan Babu Baipa June 11, 2024 Matthew 17:20, NIV “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Faith is not measured by its size but by its object. Even a small amount of genuine faith in the almighty God can move mountains and overcome seemingly impossible obstacles. When our faith is rooted in the unchanging character and promises of God, it becomes an unshakable force that defies human limitations and ushers in the miraculous.   Ponder Is your faith grounded in the immovable truth of God’s Word and His unwavering love for you? Or do you find yourself wavering in doubt and fear when faced with challenges? Reflect on areas where you need to exercise greater faith in the One who can do the impossible.   Pray Heavenly Father, forgive me for the times when my faith has faltered. Increase my trust in You and help me to anchor my faith firmly in Your unchanging nature and Your ability to move mountains in my life. May my faith, no matter how small, be focused entirely on You, the author and perfecter of my faith. The Outcast Encounters the Savior

The Outcast Encounters the Savior MESSAGE BY PASTOR RATAN Snack for the Soul Pastor Ratan Babu Baipa June 5, 2024 The Samaritans were a mixed race, descended from Israelites who intermarried with Gentiles after the Assyrian conquest. They were looked down upon by the Jews as religious half-breeds and heretics. This Samaritan woman Jesus met faced triple discrimination – for her race, gender, and immoral lifestyle of living with a man who was not her husband.   When Jesus asked her for a drink, she was shocked that a Jewish man would speak to her, a Samaritan woman (John 4:9). But Jesus saw past her outward circumstances to her deep spiritual thirst. He offered her “living water…welling up to eternal life” (John 4:10,14).   Their conversation revealed that though the woman was religiously ignorant, she was spiritually hungry. Jesus exposed her sinful lifestyle, yet treated her with compassion (John 4:16-18). The woman perceived He was a prophet, leading Jesus to reveal He was the long-awaited Messiah (John 4:25-26)!   Jesus broke down racial, gender, and moral barriers to bring this ostracized woman the good news of His salvation. He offered her the “living water” of eternal life as a free gift, not dependent on her works or religious pedigree, but through faith in Him alone.   The woman was so impacted that she left her water pot and became an evangelist, calling others to “Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did! Could this be the Messiah?” (John 4:28-29). Many Samaritans believed in Jesus as “the Savior of the world” because of her testimony (John 4:39,42).   This immoral, outcast woman was transformed by her encounter with the Savior. Like her, when we admit our spiritual bankruptcy and receive Jesus by faith, He forgives our sins and gives us the “living water” of abundant, eternal life.   Prayer: Lord Jesus, I am a sinner in need of the “living water” only you can provide. Thank you for pursuing me with your love and offering me salvation as a free gift. I believe you are the Messiah, the Savior of the world. Forgive my sins and come into my life. Fill me with your Spirit so that I may worship you in spirit and truth. Use me to tell others about you. A Wee Little Man Finds Big Salvation

A Wee Little Man Finds Big Salvation MESSAGE BY PASTOR RATAN Snack for the Soul Pastor Ratan Babu Baipa June 5, 2024 Zacchaeus was a wealthy tax collector who had gotten rich by defrauding others (Luke 19:2,8). As a chief tax collector, he was a notoriously greedy sinner who exploited his own people for profit. Yet when Jesus came to Jericho, Zacchaeus desperately wanted to see Him, so he climbed a sycamore tree to get a glimpse over the crowds (Luke 19:3-4)   When Jesus saw Zacchaeus’ spiritual hunger, He shockingly invited Himself to Zacchaeus’ home, much to the disdain of the crowd (Luke 19:5-7). This divine encounter transformed Zacchaeus’ life instantly. He repented, saying “I will give half my wealth to the poor, and if I have defrauded anyone, I will pay back four times as much” (Luke 19:8).   Jesus declared, “Today salvation has come to this house…For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost” (Luke 19:9-10). Though Zacchaeus was a “lost” sinner, when he repented and received Jesus by faith, he was gloriously saved!   This mirrors the truth that “if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9). Like Zacchaeus, when we repent and put our faith in Christ, we are born again to new life (John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17).   Have you had a life-changing encounter with Jesus like Zacchaeus? Or are you still lost in your sins, trying to climb the tree but unable to see the Savior? Jesus came to “seek and save the lost” (Luke 19:10)- that includes you! Surrender your life to Him today.   Prayer Lord Jesus, I am a sinner in need of your salvation. Like Zacchaeus, I want to see you and have you come into my life. I believe you died on the cross for my sins and rose again. Forgive me and save me. I repent of my sins and put my faith in you as my Lord and Savior. Come into my life and transform me. Thank you for your free gift of salvation! Amen. // Recent Post edit post How Do You Handle Your Valley? October 1, 2024 edit post Are You Bearing Much Fruits?
